Your Thumb’s BFF
The Loam Lever’s grippy injection molded pad has got your back in sloppy weather conditions.
The 5 Key Characteristics of the Loam Lever
- Adjustability - We believe precision matters, this lever provides two forms of adjustment so you can dial in your perfect placement.
- Weather Proof - Tested in the PNW Winters where grit and grime bond to every surface of your bike, we equipped the Loam with all the right details to keep it acting smooth for the years to come.
- No Slip Grip - Speaking of weather, the Loam Lever features a grippy injection molded thumb pad to keep your paws in place in even the sloppiest of conditions. The thumb pad is available in Teal, Orange, Grey, Black and Red.
- Techy AF - Custom CNC machining throughout the whole design of the Loam Lever for precision and weight reduction.
- Direct Mount - Available in SRAM's MatchMaker X for Guide brakes and SHIMANO's I-SPEC II for XTR M9000, XT M8000, SLX M7000 and DEORE M6000
How Does Travel Adjust work?
Our travel adjust system allows for a total of 30mm travel reduction in 5mm increments. If you were riding that line between travel sizes you can now fine-tune the perfect fit by following the easy directions below:
- Begin by lowering your dropper at or below the desired travel length (just make sure it’s not fully extended!)
- Unthread the midcap with your hand and slide it up to reveal the white DU Bushing.
- You’ll see negative numbers with corresponding notches machined into the post (each # represents decreasing travel.
- Slide the DU bushing up and rotate it to align the black arrow with the amount of travel you would like to reduce, then seat the arrow into the machined groove. (Make sure it’s fit securely into these notches!)
- After pushing the DU Bushing back down, lower the midcap and hand tighten (no need to go overboard!) and ride off into the sunset with the perfect travel for you.

FAQ
Can I run this on the right side of my bars?
The Loam lever runs horizontally, and is machined ergonomically for the left hand side of your bars. As such, it would not work well on the right side of your bars.
Can I swap colors on my thumb pad?
The adhesive we use is something 3M developed for aviation, applied in a sterile area. To discourage voiding the warranty we don’t suggest switching pads out. We know this isn't the fun answer but we want your Loam working well!
What's the difference between this and the Puget 1x lever?
While they both run horizontally, the Loam lever has an additional color customizable thumb traction pad, additional throw adjustment, and enduro bearing for actuation.
Which clamp or adapter do I need to mount my Loam lever?
It depends which brakes you are running, as far as which clamp you need to mount the Loam lever to your brakes or bars. The Standard 22.2mm Hinge Clamp is for all styles and/or if you want more adjustability, SRAM MatchMaker X is for Code/Guide brakes, SHIMANO I-SPEC II is for XTR M9000, XT M8000, SLX M7000, DEORE M6000, and SHIMANO EV is for XTR 9100. If you don’t see your specific brakes listed here, you will want to select the 22.2mm/standard clamp.

The Loam Lever's action is satisfyingly smooth, easy to activate, and the large thumb pad is easy to find no matter how rough the trail.
