PRO TIPS FOR DROPPER POST CARE

Appropriate Torque

Always check your frame manufacturers recommendation for seat collar torque, but we recommend a 4-5Nm torque as a general guideline

Keep it Clean!

Wipe the stanchion clean after each ride to help minimize wear. If you notice the post slowing down unthread the mid cap, slide it up, apply stanchion oil, sram butter or slick honey to the stanchion/upper bushing and re-tighten the mid cap by hand.

FAQ

How often do I need to service my post?

Is your post sticky, slowing down, or generally less peppy than it used to be? Then, it's likely time for a little TLC and to give it a service. Check out the service video below for details. If it's not sticky or slowing down, just go ride!

How do I adjust the return speed?

Snug up that cable tension. Make sure your housing and internal cables are lubed and not kinked or frayed!

Post sagging or dropping without actuating the lever? Check this setting first:

If your cable tension is too tight, it can activate the post without you touching the lever. Try backing off of the cable tension a bit. If that doesn't do it, test the post without the cable attached to rule out a tension issue.

What's the deal with the adjustable cartridge and how do I set it up? :

The cartridge comes under inflated for shipping purposes, so you must adjust it before your first ride.

1.Before installing your saddle remove the clamp assembly and hardware.
2. Remove the rubber grommet covering the valve.
3. Manually actuate the post so it is in the fully extended position.
4. Thread the shock pump on the valve and inflate to 280-300psi for optimal performance.
5. Remove the pump and you are now ready to complete the instalI.
