PNW Components is hiring a full-time, in-person Returns and Service Specialist based in our Rancho Cordova, CA location.
The Short Story

The Role
As a Returns and Service Specialist, you’ll be responsible for handling customer returns and warranty claims, refurbishing dropper posts, and helping ensure every PNW product that leaves our shop meets our high standards. This is a hands-on, wrench-heavy role where mechanical skill, organization, and a passion for bikes are key.
What You’ll Do

Process Returns and Warranty Repairs: Receive, inspect, and evaluate returned components for warranty or service.

Service & Rebuild Dropper Posts: Disassemble, clean, repair, and reassemble PNW droppers and components.

Document Service Work: Log issues, repairs, and parts used in service software; keep workstations clean and organized.

Support Riders: Work closely with the Rider Support team to keep customers updated and happy with their service experience.

Inventory and Parts Organization: Track usage of spare parts and alert the team when stock is low or replacements are needed.

Picking, Packing and Shipping: Serve as the primary backup for warehouse operations during peak times.
What Experience and Skills You Have

Strong mechanical intuition—bonus points for bike shop or hands-on tech experience

Ability to follow service procedures and standard operating processes

Meticulous attention to detail—you catch things others miss

Solid organizational skills—you can keep a bench clean and your records cleaner

Basic computer skills for entering service notes and checking inventory

Positive, team-first attitude with a willingness to jump in and help where needed
Job Type

Starting Wage: $22/hr
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
